5 Reasons to Live!
It's not that deep.
Gear up to do something you're compelled to. Like doing a chore right after someone told you to do it – out of conflict. Let's look for reasons that will make you take up the chance to live, rather than abandoning life. Live to believe in a reason. Reason is an aptly prepared excuse for something that has been done – a way to explain why and how. What this fails to explain is why should I believe it? Why should I believe we exist just because? The word belief takes so much belief to just stand alone. As an individual, you must gather whatever faith, and leftover belief left to actively consider the possibility of believing. Belief doesn’t arrive like revelation –it disguises itself as a habit. You wake up again tomorrow because you did today. You eat because hunger insists. You breathe because your body forgot how to stop. These are mechanical reasons. And maybe that’s enough – not purpose, but persistence.
Here are five reasons to live –
Stay for your Loved Ones
You can have a chance to thrive and strive for a life that has everything. Now, this might sound like forced positivity, but we're not doing that right now. This is not positivity! I am just here to let you know what this life offers. Like a festive sale – it lets you in on a ride of bonuses, and discounts. Bonus of being with the ones you missed, and discount from the nasty beings. An offer to the alone to see who left them, and an offer to the popular ones, who will stay. There is always a key to an obstacle that strikes you. You see signs and prevention boards – if not for yourself, think about your loved ones. That is the argument I use today – Laugh with your loved ones on jokes that once killed you; in places that once drained you. Where do we lie when we love some people and hate them to the core as we love them simultaneously. There we bring to you reasons to love - basic three word mantra speaks with live, love, and laugh. live with intent, laugh with genuinity and love with hatred. All three assume you are there to exist and not survive. Stay with loved ones because
Nothing Lasts Forever
Quoting one of my favourite lyrics, ‘forever is the sweetest con’. Believing any life, love or laugh will last forever is the sweetest, and most brutal mistake one can commit. The scar you embrace will fade, and the star you chase will die eventually. If there is something that lingers is the mortal soul of even the inanimate ones. Standing at every corner, with not a sickle, but a sweet embrace of knowing. Knowing who these people are wandering and gaslighting, believing everything will be done for them – that even with an eventual end they will get to have a say when to end the sentence. A reason to live is to know that the warm embrace will be given to you when you expect the least, and maybe need the most. It could be a mid-sentence comma or an eventual period. But it will surely listen to your words and let you speak even in silence. Emotions aren't permanent – the helplessness won't last even when the circumstances persist. We, as humans, have evolved to be numb to distress after a point. The dismal belief doesn't support constant sorrow for a long time. A secret between you and me – the disgrace and distress go nowhere, it lingers in the shadows of the hope of transient. Like a tiger in the grass, waiting to have its moment. Desperation and helplessness won't last forever, but just stick with you at their command, and for your torture. Just a friend in need, is just their friend, indeed!
Here, we give you a chance to make the realization last forever. I ask you to give chance to the relief after sorrow, and the repentance after sin to last forever.
A Clock that Never Runs Out
You have the time – twenty-four hours, a number of years – just before it stops. But, also a ticking clock right in the center of your head, ticking and clocking and exploding. Right before it strikes midnight, the alarm goes off – and times have changed!
Nothing lasts forever!
This is a never-ending cycle where you run, dive, jump, fall – but never stop! The clock ticks away. On days like such, even faster. It's you against time like in those action-packed movies. But, we don't have Tom Cruise scaling Burj Khalifa, but an ordinary man trying to fit the pursuits of life on a shelf that doesn't budge. And, there we go! You live to constantly fight with the unbreakable force that hasn't been defeated in ages. A power that has been proved time and time again – changed fates and declared prophecies! Today, it shines with a super-power of changing how we perceive it. Time moves faster for the running, and slower for the hidden. It holds you firmly, never letting you go. Long story short, you have a lot of time left here - the time that won't let you leave, the time that held onto the greatest conquerors, and feeble survivors. It will hold onto you – until the end of time…
The Unexplored World
Unexplored are the oceans – just salt and repetition – and the skies, painted ceilings for dreams that are too heavy to lift. Curiosity is exhausting. It drags you through places that promise change only to echo the same emptiness back. The unexplored world doesn’t require wandering – it waits for your surrender.
When you stop speaking, stop reaching, the unexplored and unknown silence finally rises with finality, in the unexplored. At the end of it all, there’s no grand revelation. Just the soft hum of existing without purpose. You must stop searching not because you’ve found peace, but because peace stops making sense. The unexplored world isn’t somewhere else. It’s the space left behind when you stop wanting to be found.
You're Not Alone!
Living in a world of clones, you are not alone. Dive in the spaces between you and me, and you might find that ‘you’ lost in the lights. Misery isn't isolation; but a gathering of pretenders. You are not the only one standing in the rain. It drenches each soul desperate for success, love, betrayal, and life. Sadness isn't an activity done alone, it brings with itself company. Bring together the files of dismal beliefs and let's celebrate. You are not alone in bowing in front of the hurdles.
Amidst the pretending, you must stop fighting – because there is no shape left to be moulded into. Your portrait has become a cluster of shapes, there is no point beyond this it seems. The world keeps spinning its bright illusions — just simply stop chasing them. Let the noise fade, and the lights blur. Enter the silence, finally get to meet yourself again in a new light – that will not be shone by anyone as hurt as you.
Bonus - A Final Chance to Live Differently!
When you stand at the altar, conflicted and waiting to be wed forever into a life of bliss and, finally, togetherness. A mount of surreal emotions flooding your thoughts. You are being married! Another chapter is being written and now you will have someone by your side to listen and write with you. You can gather every one of your shattered piece of glass dreams, and decorate the walls of isolation. An isolation from the past. The past is in the past. They give you what the previous ones couldn't. They didn't care when you cried in a dark shed, or in a luxurious hotel room. What were the reasons to live that life? Compare it to what you feel right now – a caring partner, a cozy house of walls that don't reflect hurt but care – an effort to rekindle the treasured dreams. Not a world that substitutes a life for a memorable life. A place with no compulsion to return, but just live the way you truly want to. This is no utopia, just a reason to live.
