Meet Our Team
Behind every great story is a passionate team of writers, editors, designers, and creative professionals dedicated to pushing the boundaries of digital storytelling.
Jannat Hussain
Editor in Chief
Jannat Hussain is an undergrad exploring Psychology and French, with a firm conviction that stories have the power to transform lives. As an author and dedicated literature enthusiast, she's weaving her own path around the magic of narratives. Right now, she's channeling that passion into launching a startup that explores how stories mold our deepest interests, sense of self, and communal bonds. Her writing often delves into themes of alienation and absurdism, alongside those lesser-explored corners of the human experience—fueled by her unquenchable thirst for debate. Fresh off the press with her debut novel, Jannat also pens thoughtful pieces for various outlets. You're likely to catch her juggling more commitments than any sane person should, fueling up on endless cups of ginger tea, or losing herself in the synergy of The Strokes.

A natural escapist, she finds solace in her music and books—especially those that delve into spirituality, psychology, and the supernatural. Alongside her creative pursuits, Kritika is also a tarot reader, channeling her intuition and inner world through her practice.

Kamini Pandey
Content Curator
Sometimes a writer, mostly just someone trying to survive the weight of being human. Most of what she writes starts as broken sentences, half thoughts that won't leave her alone. She isn't chasing perfection. Her words stumble. They ache. Like trying to remember a dream that disappears the moment you name it. She zones out into moments that feel suspended. Finds traces of meaning where others find scrap. Sometimes she writes nothing at all. Sometimes she wonders if anyone would notice if it all vanished. She has nothing finished to show for now. And maybe that's exactly the point. And maybe that's all, her writing wants to stay with even when you thought you'd already left.

Shabeeh Zehra
Managing Editor
Analysing portrayals of mental illness and female rage in literature. Her own work centers on examining taboos and horror in fiction, examining how they mirror broader cultural anxieties. She draws inspiration from confessional poets and from the intersections of literature and psychology. One of her more obscure interests is fictional houses, which she sees as extensions of the characters' minds; she also swears by black coffee and Sylvia Plath for curing writer's block. Her current project is a nonfiction work compiling cultural and historical studies of taboo subjects, including serial killers, mass hysteria, cults, and dictators.

She finds inspiration in Midnight Sun, a heartfelt movie about a girl living boldly despite her limits, which fuels Riddhima’s push for our writers to take risks with their stories. Arya Shukla
Creative Supervisor
She swears she’s not addicted to Canva, but her reels and designs might say otherwise. What began as a childhood dream of building a design and animation company came alive during her B.Com years, when she realized the corporate routine wasn’t her story to tell. Since then, she’s been shaping ideas into visuals, words, and strategies that feel alive and unforgettable. Her work carries the pulse of raw emotions, untamed skies, and stories that never sit still. With over a million views on her Instagram page tangled_taless, Arya creates content that doesn’t just get seen- it lingers. And though her creations shine bright on the surface, they often carry whispers of darkness- the kind that stays with you long after the page is turned.

Sidra Noor
Coordinator
Examining narratives at the crossroads of gender, identity, and literature. Her work revolves around theorizing the facets of everyday life into broader themes of culture and society. She draws inspiration from the African American author– Audre Lorde, whose writing, forged through unimaginable hardships and systemic marginalization, articulated powerful critiques of race, gender, sexuality, and power. She has been reading feminist and subaltern literature ever since she was 15, which makes her very annoying at parties and has given her even worse eyesight. She is analyzing Osamu Dazai's No Longer Human, focusing on how the novel frames decay not as physical collapse but as the gradual disintegration of the self. Her work examines the tension between masks of identity and the alienation and emptiness they conceal.

Hannah Maria Jess
Head Journalist
Hannah Maria Jess is an Economics major and a writer exploring the duality of data and words, binding solitude and connection. Her work often balances her realist mind with her dreamer heart. Writing is her solace — detangling the knots of tension in her daily life while helping her make sense of the peculiarities she observes in people, places, and patterns. Inspired equally by music, films, and fleeting moments. She measures her mood in playlists and seasons in cinema — meaning she always has a song ready for every situation. Pretending Google Docs is a personality test and believing headphones, Spotify, and a messy diary full of odd metaphors are her true essentials. Currently, pursuing Economics while deeply engaged in literature Hannah serves as the editor-in-chief of the college magazine. She is developing her craft by publishing her works in several chronicles. Moreover, she enjoys publicly speaking - an extension of her childhood love for being on stage.
